On Saturday, February 18th at approximately 5:57PM, the Irvington Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to Beckett Close in the Legend Hollow Complex for a dog in a pond with a child following in after. The Irvington Fire Department is sad to announce the passing of 51 year life active member Donald Costello. During his service to the community Donald has held the position of Captain of Fire Prevention, teaching members of the community the lessons of fire safety and prevention. On Saturday September 24th, the Irvington Fire Department participated in the Westchester County Volunteer Fireman's Association Convention parade in Hastings on Hudson.
