The Irvington Fire department celebrated the arrival of the new Engine 177 with Village officials, Clergy, neighboring departments, family and friends on Saturday afternoon. After a brief introduction and thanks to the committee by Chief Mastropietro, Father Byrne blessed the new engine with holy water and Mayor Siegel sprinkled champaign. Guests took advantage of the beautiful weather to look over the features of the new rig then went inside for refreshments.
